50 point One half win against Colchester B

Billericay Bees u14 made short work of victory on Sunday running in 8 tries in 25 minutes for a 50-0 win.
The Billericay boys handled the ball and supported the ball carrier well while playing down the hill at Willowbrook.

Right from the kick off Ruben scored the first of his 5 tries. His height and speed seemed to put off all would be tacklers.
By 10 minutes in he had finished off four sweeping moves straight from kick off's, all converted by Wicks.

The good thing about the half was that the team played to their structure and there were no 'glory hunters' trying to do too much themselves. The pack had the upper edge on their opponents in the scrums and in the loose dominating against Colchester's boys.

Special mention to Matt and Luke playing their first game for the Bees made a great impression in the centres. Absentee Sam, away with Essex, has some competition for his spot in the team. Matt scored one of his brace off a well timed move the boys worked on in training the day before.

The second half of the game was played as Billericay Forwards and Colchester Backs V Colchester Forwards and Billericay Backs.
A much more even contest broke out with the former winning 4 tries to 2.

Great credit to the Colchester team, many of whom are just starting their rugby, Improvement will happen,

Sterner tests will come in the following weeks and it's important that the boys stick to playing as a team as they did this week.

This Sunday at Willowbrook the boys play against Rochford in the Essex Cup.
Kick off will be 12 midday.
