Epping Upper Clapton U13 v Billericay U13 24/2/19

After the cup defeat at Dagenham in the last match the Bees travelled to Epping in glorious sunshine looking for improvements and a positive response. Whilst the result was the same and the score similar, there were lots of improvements to be seen. The tackling was improved, the scrum was much more competitive and the passing and running and lines looked a lot more fluid. A number of players were playing in unfamiliar roles for the first time and they adapted well to those. Epping possessed some very strong and fast wingers and the majority of their tries were breakaways in those positions. The Bees kept going despite some disruption due to injuries but there were some really brave tackles going in. Keep your heads up Billericay, work for each other, accept any decisions which go against you and most importantly, enjoy yourselves !!!
