Including changes to training times next week, 6 nations tickets, GMS and other helpful info

The seniors had a rest week in preparation for the first league games of the season.
The 1st team are away at Maldon with Kick off @ 3pm. The 2nd team are away to Southend also kicking off at 3pm. Both teams would welcome support, so why not head down to cheer on either of the teams and enjoy a drink and some food at either Maldon or Southend.

Most junior teams were training over the weekend. There was a great game played between Billericay U14's and Westcliff U14's at the club on Sunday. A well supported match everyone was impressed with the effort and ability of the Billericay players. A full match report can be read here https://www.billericayrugby.com/teams/81545/match-centre/0-4549775/report
Thanks to Peter Phillips and the under 18's for supplying and manning the coconut shy, an opportunity for the kids to practice their passing skills.
Many thanks to all volunteers who helped, including manning the car park, helping serve the food and washing kit.

Lost property from Sunday, One of the under 8 parents left their sunglasses case with their sunglasses in on the field near where the under 8's were training. They were in a black osiris case.If any one remembers seeing them or handing them in can you let us know so we can find and return them.

Gumshields
We have restocked the bar with new gumshields so if you need one just pop to the bar to purchase one.

Next Sunday - Time changes and England v Tonga game
Training for baby bees to U12 will be started earlier 9.30, in order to finish earlier. The England V Tonga world cup game is not being shown at the club but we have arranged for the Inn on the green to host us. As kick off is 11.15 we thought starting earlier will allow people more time to get to the pub for the game. Adults and Children are all welcome.
For the older age groups your team managers will let you know whether game times or training times will be changed.

GMS and paying membership fees online.
Thanks to everyone who has paid their membership fees online via GMS. We are making good progress but do understand there are teething issues. One common issue is the emails from GMS going into peoples spam folders, so if you have can not find a GMS email you are expecting to receive, it is worth checking the spam/trash folder of your email
If you have not yet been told how you can pay online your Team manager will be letting you know shortly. By all means just ask them. There is below a document that I created which hopefully will help you through updating player and parent details and paying for membership on the GMS site.

Membership cards
This year we have introduced a membership card, the membership card will be issued once your (or your childs) membership fees are paid. The card will give you a discount for purchases made over the bar. For mini's, Juniors and Youth section the cards will be distributed via the team managers. For seniors Danny will be getting the membership info from Dave Talbot and will create the cards and they should be available for collection from the bar, but any questions ask Danny Hitchcock who is normally not far away from the bar.

6 Nations tickets
There is a change to how people can apply for England tickets for next years 6 nations tournament through the club. The below document details all the information you need. Although the games are not until next year the deadline for applying is this year so please read the below if you are interested in applying for tickets.
