1st XV to compete in 'Counties 2 - Essex'

The RFU have completed and released their league restructuring plans, which will see the 1st XV compete in the newly formed 'Counties 2 - Essex' league (was previously know as London 3 Essex prior to the restructure).

With a number of teams being moved around the higher leagues, this has resulted in a number of club across all leagues being shifted up a level and therefore the 1st XV will now be playing at Level 8 compared to last season in the now non-existent Essex One League which was Level 9.

The full list of clubs in the 'Counties 2 - Essex' League are:

Bancroft RFC
Barking RFC
Basildon RFC
Billericay RFC
Canvey Island RFC
Clacton RFC
Harwich & Dovercourt RFC
Kings Cross Steelers RFC
Maldon RFC
Millwall RFC
Old Brentwoods RFC
Pegasus Palmerians RFC
Stanford le Hope RFC
Writtle Wanderers RFC

Due the high number of teams, it's likely the league will be split but more will be confirmed when the fixtures are released in June.
