The Wooden Spoon Charity hold the World Record for playing the longest game of Rugby.

They played non stop pf 30 hours and 29 minutes with our Simon and Steve involved, not constantly mind you...

"I cannot remember the score but it was in the thousands. Steve Green and I played, there were also 3 our players from Essex clubs"

The game was played on August bank holiday, 2019, hottest day on record!

The Wooden Spoons played School of Hard Knocks at Hazelwood West London, the training ground for London Irish.

The record still stands and we have more vet players at our club who will be playing for the Wooden Spoons again on September 28th at Vetsfest
